Many of the members of this group are former Dawson Theatre Collective sweethearts, who have continued the mission of the DTC at Concordia. THANK YOU ALL !
The ACT Club is a Concordia-based, student-run theatre company, founded in 2015, whose mission is to make theatre accessible to all Concordia students, regardless of background or experience. Workshops are offered in the Fall semester, and the Winter semester is spent writing and producing an original work. We are very excited to present our latest production, Only Human!
On the set of a supernatural-themed reality TV show, a washed up star invites three strangers to share their alleged experiences of demonic possession. What ensues is a night of revelations and tribulation, as with each unfolding story characters are forced to confront their pasts while facing the ever-troubling present. Suspicions grow, the lines between fact and fiction are blurred, and the true purpose of this gathering becomes more and more elusive… A horrific, unapologetic yet sincere analysis of how far people will go for what they want, this play is sure to spark your mind and warm your heart.
